The Historic Bliss Mill
Just outside Chipping Norton stands Bliss Tweed Mill. Founded in 1756 by Thomas Bliss and growing throughout the generations of Bliss Family members, until it reached its peak in the 1850's. Sold to the famous Fox Brothers in 1920, but sadly the mill closed in 1980.
Fox Brothers have recently found the original archive fabrics and have used these to reproduce a range of tweeds and wool / linen mix fabrics that we are now able to offer.
