Almost Unwearoutable shooting stockings are hand made to measure in Northumberland and County Durham, continuing a British knitting tradition that goes back almost 80 years.
Each pair is knitted to your own measurements in hard-wearing wool and can be matched to your shooting tweed, estate colours, tartan, regimental or school colours, with more than 40 colours and patterns to choose from and the option of personalised initials or designs.
Made for long days in the field, they are built to keep their shape, warmth and comfort season after season, and because many customers still wear pairs bought decades ago, we also offer a repair service to keep favourite stockings going.
Whether you need a single pair to finish a new shooting suit, matching stockings for a whole syndicate, or a thoughtful gift for someone who shoots, Almost Unwearoutable bespoke shooting socks pair naturally with British tweed and traditional country clothing.
They are knitted 19" from base of heel to top, where the stocking turns over. However these can be made to any measurements so please let us know if you want them longer or wider.
