Wining away the Weekend with Georgie Fenn

At Barrington Ayre, we love wine and whisky nearly as much as clothing! so we were delighted to welcome our favourite wine writer and Instagrammer, Georgie Fenn to our Cirencester.

Georgie's passion for the finer things in life brought her to commission her first bespoke suit that we were more than delighted to make for her.

Georgie came into our Cirencester Showroom and we had a chat about the sort of fabrics and colours that she was looking for and she settled on a stunning light sage green 100% wool from the Peerless Range by Dugdale Bros.

The fabric is perfect to be worn all year round as it weighs in at 10.5oz and the tightly woven fabric prevents creasing so is perfect for all of the travelling that Georgie does tasting wines and whisky!

Georgie also wanted a classic double breasted that was to be cut in a more relaxed / over sized cut that would allow her to wear it open and would work perfectly for the events that she attends.

The trousers are an awesome design and are a wide legged, high waisted style with deep pleats and a wrap around look that are going to work beautifully with heels for a more dressed up look but also with trainers for a more relaxed look.

Both pieces can be worn separately as well as as a suit and we will open up Georgie's design for others to use!

Whilst she was here, she also took a bit of a fancy to our new coat design and our submariner jumpers!!!!
