Designed to be as light as possible whilst still keeping an elegant tailored shape.
This Off Duty tailoring jacket is perfect for those who travel or have busy lives. The fabrics chosen from which to make the NIX jacket each hold incredible crease resisatnt properties, meaning that you never have to worry about creasing again.
We only use a tiny bit of structuring around the arm holes allowing thes non crease fabrics to really come into their own.
These specially selected fabrics, all have nearly zero / NIX creasing properties and are all entirely natural fibres.
THE CONSTRUCTION
The NIX jacket is unlined with an entirely natural, non padded shoulder, giving a sleek, stylish silhouette, whilst being crease resisatnt, allowing you to wear the jacket for all occasions and even scrunch it up and pop it in a bag if need be.
THE FABRICS
Available in a number of different non crease fabrics:
1. TROPICALAIR from Dugdale Bros
Woven with extra fine 2 ply Merino Wool, the Warp threads cross over one another resulting in an open gauze appearance look, similar to an Airtex shirt. The crisp dry handle, and the huge range of colours that are avaialble, make this one of our most popular choices for our NIX jacket. - 12oz / 340gms
2. TROPICAL BREEZE from Dugdale Bros
The next generation of High Twist cloths with the sole purpose of perfromance and comfort. The extra finishing of this cloth ensures that the weave remains fully open to further enhance the natural breathable and crease resistant properties. Slightly lighter than the Tropical Air offering at 10oz / 290gms
3. FOX AIR from Fox Brothers
Fox Air embodies tropical tailoring, with a crisp and dry handle. Woven using a 2-ply up-twisted worsted yarn to achieve a crease-resistant cloth, which makes for the ideal travel companion. - 10/11oz - 285/315gms
4. CARNIVAL from Standeven
The Carnival collection uses the very best mohair from South Africa. Mohair is ta natural fibre from the Angora goat that weaves into a truly exceptional cloth. Available in a huge range of colours with natural lustre and brightness and is again naturally crease resistant. - 9 1/2oz / 270gms
5. CRISPAIRE from Holland and Sherry
The full bodied crimp of this merino wool offers exceptional recovery properties, that produce a natural, high performance, crease resistant fabric perfect for our NIX jackets. This bunch offers a bold and uncompromising range of colours and patterns. - 9/10 oz - 280/310 gms
