How long should your tie be?
How long should your tie be?
So when wearing a tie, how long should your tie be? The tip should sit just below your waistband. Any shorter and you look like you are in Grange Hill and any longer the eye is drawn to places it really shouldn't be drawn to!
A nifty little trick is also when tieing your tie, you should start with the thinner end pointing at the third shirt button from the bottom, and if you are a pretty standard height, and have a classic 150cm length tie, then this should get your tie sitting in roughly the right sort of place!
